6 Pirate Crafts for Treasure-Hunting Families

Steps:

2. Treasure chest

Materials:

  • plastic box of wet wipes
  • gold paint
  • beads (optional)
  • Bottlecaps
  • sand (optional)
  • Box (optional)
  • Brushes

Steps:

  1. The empty wipes box's labels should be removed, and the outside should be painted gold. Painting it brown is an additional choice.

4. Pirate's hat

Pirate crafts are perfect for making resistant costumes that will accompany children during long hours of play. This is where we introduce you to the hook's special friend, the pirate cap.

Materials:

  • cardboard (you might use an empty box from your home)
  • Paint in black and white
  • Gold and silver paint or markers
  • Ruler
  • Cutters or scissors
  • Staples or glue

Steps:

  1. Draw the outline of a hat with the following measurements on the cardboard: 54 cm in length, 21 cm in height overall, and 15 cm in width at the sides, depending on the size of your children. If your child is younger or approaching pre-adolescence, these measures may change. To create two faces that are equal, repeat the process.
  2. Both faces should be cut out, painted in black, with the top edge left in its natural hue. Dry it out.
